What this policy will cover
- What we collect: account email, profile details you provide, favorites/follows, and privacy-preserving usage analytics (no IP addresses stored)
- How we use it: running the directory, notifications you opt into, and improving the product
- What we never do: sell personal information
- Private fields: legal names, booking/business details, and contact info marked private stay restricted per your visibility settings
- Email preferences: each notification category is a separate opt-in you control in Settings; marketing email is never bundled with account creation
- Cookies: a strictly-necessary sign-in session cookie; analytics/advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only load with your consent — see the Cookies page
- Data deletion: request account deletion in Settings (7-day cooling-off, then permanent)
- Children: the service is not directed to children under 13
